In the spring of 2005 I spent the holy week leading up to Easter photographing the various religious celebrations and processions in towns on the western coast of Sicily again as part of a workshop with Ernesto Bazan. Most of the images were taken in Trapani and Marsala and attempt to translate the deep passion of the people and their traditions.
